Qtylio Team (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides Qtylio. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the app and contact us. Privacy inquiries may be sent to tylermaendelbc450@gmail.com.
1 Information processed on your device
You enter prices, total quantities, and measurement units to compare two products. The app processes these values locally on your device to calculate unit prices and identify the lower unit price. These calculation inputs and results are not sent to us or to a server by the app.
The app does not create accounts or save calculation history. Current inputs and results are held temporarily in memory during the app session. They may remain when you switch to another app and return while the process is still running. They are discarded when the process ends or the app starts a new session. The app does not intentionally write them to files, analytics logs, cloud storage, or device backups.
2 Information the app does not collect
The app does not collect or transmit your name, account credentials, location, contacts, photos, microphone recordings, advertising identifier, payment information, or calculation history. It does not include advertising, behavioral analytics, tracking, or developer-operated crash-reporting SDKs. The app does not request sensitive runtime permissions for its calculation features.
We do not sell personal information or use information from your calculations for targeted advertising. Google Play and Android may independently process information when distributing, updating, or operating the app under their own policies.
3 Information you choose to send to support
If you email us, we receive your email address, the contents of your message, and any attachments or information you choose to provide. Opening an email draft does not automatically send a message. The app does not automatically attach calculation values or device logs.
We use support information to respond to your request, investigate a reported issue, and maintain necessary correspondence. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information that is not needed for your request.
4 Service providers and disclosures
Our email provider processes support messages to deliver and host our correspondence. We do not share locally processed calculation inputs with that provider. We may disclose support correspondence where legally required, to protect rights and security, or to service providers needed to address your request, with appropriate safeguards where required.
5 Retention and deletion
We retain support correspondence only for as long as necessary to respond to and resolve your request and meet applicable legal requirements. You may contact tylermaendelbc450@gmail.com to request deletion. If particular information must be retained for a legal obligation or dispute, we will explain the applicable limitation where permitted.
Calculation values are not stored by us, so there is no server-side calculation history to retrieve or delete. No account deletion feature is needed because the app does not support account creation. You can stop using or uninstall the app at any time.
6 External pages and email services
The Privacy Policy link opens in your system browser. Contact links open an available email app. Browser, email, and website hosting services may process technical information independently, such as network information needed to load a page or deliver a message. Review the notices of those services. Calculation values are not automatically included in those links.
7 Security
Processing calculations locally reduces the need to transmit your inputs. We take reasonable measures to protect support correspondence, including limiting access to people who need it. No device, email service, or method of storage is completely secure. Avoid entering sensitive information into the price and quantity fields.
8 Children
The app is a general utility and does not require personal profiles. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through support, contact tylermaendelbc450@gmail.com so that we can review and delete it where appropriate.
9 Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal information you sent to support, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Contact tylermaendelbc450@gmail.com to make a request. We may request only information reasonably needed to verify and fulfill it.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process support correspondence to respond to your request, for our legitimate interest in supporting and improving the app, or to comply with legal obligations. If an email provider processes correspondence outside your country, applicable transfer protections must be observed.
10 Changes and contact
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the app or information practices. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice or obtain consent when required. Any future feature that changes data handling must be reflected in the policy before that handling begins.
